Automation Engineer
Key duties & responsibilities:
* Maintaining and troubleshooting control systems for high-tech production lines, including PLCs, robotics, and vision systems.
* Solving system failures, fixing issues, and preventing them from happening again.
* Leading projects to upgrade or replace outdated control system components.
* Collaborating with teams to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
* Staying updated on new technologies like machine learning and data analysis to improve production line efficiency.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Automatic & Control, Automation & Robotics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Information Technology & Computing or similar.
* At least 5 years experience in high-tech manufacturing, automation, or process control environment.
* Experience with PLC programming/troubleshooting, robotic applications, and vision systems.
* Excellent troubleshooting ability and strong communication skills.
* Self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
