**Automation Engineer Role Summary** Responsible for administering, configuring, implementing, maintaining, and supporting manufacturing equipment specific applications and systems in a cGMP environment. **Job Description** Within this role, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support of various manufacturing equipment specific applications and systems in a cGMP environment. Key responsibilities include: * Providing end-user support for small manufacturing equipment applications, including troubleshooting issues and communicating with management, business process owners, and users * Working on equipment ranging from standalone devices such as UV Specs, pH meters, and particle samplers to networked equipment like wave rockers, chromatography skids, and cell analysers * Overseeing and executing automation preventative maintenance activities * Generating automation documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and configuration specification documents * Performing daily business administrative tasks related to functional support and general user account administration * Providing SME support and working closely with functional departments on projects to develop, implement, and enhance systems * Implementing software/hardware changes and upgrades, understanding the impact on manufacturing and facilities * Providing assistance prior to, during, and post regulatory/partner inspections * Supporting automation change control requests * Participating in or leading small manufacturing equipment projects to introduce new equipment or upgrade existing applications * Working with validation and quality departments to ensure automation applications associated with small manufacturing equipment are implemented following a development life cycle approach * Participating in or leading small manufacturing equipment applications, security access, and periodic audit trail reviews **Requirements** * Relevant experience in Automation, Instrumentation, or IT * Innovative, high attention to detail, and results-driven * Ability to operate as part of a team in a highly interdependent environment * Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills * BS/BA or higher in Science, Engineering, Instrumentation, Information Technology, or related field * Engineer requires 3+ years of relevant experience * Senior Engineer requires 5+ years of relevant experience **About Regeneron** Regeneron is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion or belief (or lack thereof), sex, nationality, national or ethnic origin, civil status, age, citizenship status, membership of the Traveler community, sexual orientation, disability, genetic information, familial status, marital or registered civil partnership status, pregnancy or parental status, gender identity, gender reassignment, military or veteran status, or any other protected characteristic in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. **Benefits** Regeneron offers comprehensive benefits, including health and wellness programs, fitness centers, equity awards, annual bonuses, and paid time off for eligible employees at all levels.
