Position: Automation Engineer Location: Co. Tipperary Salary: €40,000 - €60,000 Exciting Opportunity: Automation Engineer in County Tipperary! About Our Client: Our client, a leading manufacturing company in County Tipperary, is seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and reliability in the production process. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement automation systems to optimize production and manufacturing processes. Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to improve system performance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation equipment and control systems to minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions. Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure system reliability and efficiency. Develop and maintain detailed documentation for automation systems, including program logic, system configuration, and modifications. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an Automation Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI development, and SCADA systems.
