The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree, 5 years of experience in the pharma industry, and knowledge of Siemens S7 PLCs, Fill Finish equipment, and cGMP/FDA/HPRA regulations. Key responsibilities include facilitating technical solutions for automated equipment, maintaining PLC automation systems, and ensuring compliance with site change control. The successful candidate will also have strong technical knowledge in GAMP, reading and interpreting PLC code, and understanding of SCADA systems. They will work closely with operations staff, maintenance technicians, and engineers in a cross-functional team setting. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for providing automation requirements and implementing solutions for new products and/or capacity expansions. They will also support disaster recovery and back up procedures and ensure business impact is minimized in the event of a failure. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge, a disciplined and compliant approach, and a methodical/analytical approach to problem-solving. They will also have strong understanding of how to implement and maintain FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant systems and Annex 11. Additionally, they will have knowledge of industrial Ethernet and SCADA systems, electrical drawings, and mechanical systems and manufacturing processes. The Automation Engineer will work in a Clean Room environment and have a strong understanding of IP-based networks, Profinet, and Profibus."}
