As an Automation Engineer you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining digital infrastructure platforms to drive innovation by making informed decisions using real-time data and information.A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:Designing and delivering end-to-end data solutions to meet our current and future needsFacilitating the smooth transition of projects from development into production environmentOverseeing migration of data from legacy systems to new applicationsActing as a subject matter expert and the technical go-to for the data integration solutionsBecoming intimately familiar with the data model of the process systemsIterating and shipping ideas quickly with minimal directionCollaborating effectively with other functions and groups on the site's data strategyReviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedbackProducing detailed documentation to a high standardThis role might be for you if:You have general IT administration experience and system upgrades/maintenance/migrations (infrastructure, applications) experienceYou possess an excellent understanding of protocols such as OPC, UPC-UA, MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTPYou have experience in SQL and knowledge of database structuresYou demonstrate knowledge/skills with REST API and SDKYou are knowledgeable in analytics and data insightsTo be considered for this opportunity you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study.Associate Engineer requires 0-2 years relevant experience.Engineer requires 3+ years relevant experience.Senior Engineer requires 5+ years of relevant experience.Does this sound like you?
