Realtime recruitment are seeking a skilled Automation Test Analyst for a permanent position based in Dublin City Centre. You will be responsible for the end-to-end automation testing of multiple applications, coordinating the efforts of other specialists to successfully deliver joint projects. You will implement best practices in automation using tools and frameworks such as Cucumber BDD, Selenium, Java, and Git for version control. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java-based automation frameworks. Write and maintain high-quality automated test scripts. Challenge conventional testing approaches to ensure the effective use of automation. Adhere to best practices in automation testing and governance processes. Work reliably and independently with minimal supervision. Conduct demos for automation scripts integrated with CI/CD pipelines. Monitor the progress of automation projects against plans and report any variances. Manage issues and risks that may impact the project or team. Collaborate closely with all stakeholders to provide timely and efficient quality feedback throughout the delivery cycle. Participate in project governance activities, including attending relevant steering group and stakeholder meetings. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous service improvement. Requirements: ISTQB Certified Foundation Tester and any Agile/automation certification. Strong experience in Java, with a solid understanding of the language. Familiarity with XML and JSON, and their application in SOAP/REST APIs. Proficient in project tracking tools such as JIRA, Git, etc. Adaptability to different project delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), and hybrid models. Experience collaborating with business owners, users, developers, testers, and all levels of management.
