Cloud Engineer sought to work on container migrations, automation, and cloud experience in a hybrid cloud environment.
Sogeti, a company that believes in the potential of its employees, is looking for a highly motivated Cloud Engineer to join its Development and Digital Services portfolio.
As a Cloud Engineer, you will have a passion for automation and hands-on cloud experience, working on container migrations in various hybrid cloud scenarios, moving on-prem container-based workloads to a cloud-based container platform.
You will interact with customers, technical staff, IT architects, and application owners, conducting strategy, application, and technology design and planning workshops.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work on container migrations in various hybrid cloud scenarios
- Interact with customer - technical staff, IT architects, application owners
- Conduct strategy, application, technology design and planning workshops
- Choose the right technology tools for performing the builds and migration with a focus towards the cloud provider recommendations
Requirements:
- Commercial experience across designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments in Azure
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the IT industry with Infrastructure Engineering background
- Strong Technology and Automation knowledge not limited to the Office 365 platform (Share Point Online, Teams), Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Azure Functions etc.
- Experience of containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and AKS
- Strong Knowledge in automation scripting languages (ARM Template/Terraform/Cloud Formation)
- Experience troubleshooting on the Microsoft Cloud Platform
- Experience of working with Azure AD, Office 365, Azure Data Factory, or other cloud platforms
- Knowledge of common database and caching technologies, such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Mongo DB, Postgre SQL, My SQL
- Some knowledge of common programming languages used in modern web application development, such as C#, Java Script, Type Script, Java, Go, or PHP
- Experience in deploying and configuring Virtual Networks, NAT Gateway and Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Orchestrating Routing Paths in Azure
