Baker Excel Recruitment is actively seeking an experienced Baker to join our client, a national retailer in, Cork City and surrounds. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving bakery team with plenty of room for progression and development. Salary: €32K-€37k Our client is seeking a passionate Baker with 1-2 year's experience in a Retail Bakery or similar role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of skilled bakers and develop their talents. This role will involve early morning shifts and suits a candidate who has experience producing high-quality baked goods and brings an excellent attention to detail, and a creative flair. Key Baker Responsibilities: Bake and produce a mix of high quality bread and confectionery items Ensure profitability by maintaining an accurate record of baking operations Manage supplies and inventory levels Ensure all products are baked in line with guidelines and of the highest possible quality Assess the quality of raw materials before baking Ensure the proper storage of baking utensils Ensuring HACCP and food safety guidelines are being always followed The Ideal Baker: Must have 1-2 year's experience working in a retail bakery, producing a high volume of products daily A qualification in baking is advantageous Must have excellent attention to detail Good communication skills are essential Completed HACCP training essential Driving or wiling to commute up to an hour If you are interested in this role or any other roles on the Excel recruitment website please apply via website or contact me, Adam to discuss potential job opportunities.
