Ballymagarvey Village is a beautiful private estate in the historic Boyne Valley and is an exclusive wedding venue hosting events from all over the world. We are currently recruiting for a Banqueting Supervisor (Full-Time) to join our exciting and fast-paced Banqueting Team.
The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team in a venue that provides excellent service to all of its guests.

Key Tasks:
- Determine staff needs and assist HR in the recruitment and selection process.
- Assist Event Manager with Performance Management on an ongoing basis.
- Assist with training and coaching of all new recruits.
- Delegate Reception/Banqueting/Set-Up duties and tasks to meet objectives on the day of the event.
- Direct and supervise staff members to meet established Standard Operating Procedures during the event.
- Complete and adjust weekly Banqueting roster in accordance with available resources whilst staying within the budgetary and regulatory requirements.
- On the day of the event, allocate clear responsibilities to banqueting staff.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of Manor House/Banqueting Hall.
- Check cutlery/crockery stock on a weekly basis and liaise with GM for additional supplies.
- Promote and practice compliance with fire, health and safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
- Plan necessary breaks for banqueting staff during the event.
- Ensure that all banqueting staff act as one combined seamless team with the Bar team and other event management staff.
- Deal with and follow up on complaints and ensure complaints are communicated to the relevant Heads of Departments, ensuring necessary documentation (e.g., Incident Report) is completed.
- Participate in monthly Heads of Department meetings.
- To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the General Manager.
