Bar Manager - Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bartender in the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Bar Tender will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- To maximize all sales opportunities through up selling, new innovative product offerings and additional sales, effective recording of sales.
- To be aware of relevant competitor information and market changes to initiate changes to our services.
- To monitor all purchasing in area of responsibility to ensure appropriate quality and fair prices and to minimize stock holding where appropriate.
- To oversee departmental staff training. Manage performance and appraisals. Ensuring department performance and team engagement meets required standards.
Requirements:
- Previous hotel experience in a 3/4-star hotel property is desired.
- Previous experience in a high volume/fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a busy food and beverage operation.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
- Micros experience would be preferable.
