**Bar Manager Wanted for Jameson Distillery Bow Street** We are seeking a highly skilled Bar Manager to lead the daily operations of multiple bars at Jameson Distillery Bow Street, ensuring a world-class experience for customers and staff alike. **Job Description:** As a Bar Manager, you will be responsible for: * Leading the daily operations of multiple bars, including Scullys and off-site events * Managing bar inventory, placing orders, and monitoring stock levels * Creating team rosters and ensuring adequate staffing levels during busy periods and events * Ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently, including daily reports and logs * Fostering a positive and collaborative team culture * Empowering staff to deliver a world-class service and uphold high standards of excellence * Providing comprehensive training on delivering the best Jameson drinks * Conducting daily, weekly, and monthly team catch-ups and 1:1 meetings * Engaging with staff on the job to provide support, guidance, and hands-on leadership * Overseeing staff performance appraisals and offering constructive feedback * Developing a team of skilled, motivated individuals who work well together and support one another in achieving bar targets * Leading by example, ensuring the team upholds high standards of customer service and bar operations * Collaborating with colleagues across all teams to deliver an unforgettable brand experience * Utilizing and managing office applications such as Microsoft Office, CORE, and SAP to streamline operations * Embracing and leading the use of technology for rostering, stock management, and financial reporting * Ensuring all team members are trained and competent in using relevant software systems * Ensuring all safety and security procedures are strictly followed, safeguarding both the team and the business * Promoting a safety-first culture within the bar, regularly reviewing and updating safety protocols to maintain compliance with legal and company standards * Ensuring the highest level of customer service is consistently delivered across all bars * Addressing and resolving customer complaints effectively and in a timely manner * Monitoring bar performance in line with budgets and revenue targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions * Collaborating closely with the Marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and events that drive footfall and increase bar sales * Tracking performance of promotions, providing feedback to management and marketing on their success and areas for improvement **Requirements:** * At least two years of operational management experience in a dynamic consumer-oriented setting * A world-class approach to service standards with a keen eye for detail * An approachable and professional management style, with a natural ability to foster an environment of collaboration and respect * Strong ability to navigate team dynamics while also thriving independently * A great communicator, capable of engaging and inspiring groups of any size * Driven self-starter who shows initiative, problem solves and connects well with all sorts of people * Proficient in HACCP, Licensing Laws and compliance **What We Offer:** * Daily lunch allowance * Profit share * Product allowance * Training * Health and wellbeing programme * Charity days * A supportive and collaborative work environment * Opportunities for career growth and development
