Job Description
Full-time Audiologist required to cover maternity leave in the Audiology Department at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9. The successful candidate will assess adults and children, working closely with the ENT department to provide a comprehensive service to over 50 consultants.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnostic and audiometric testing for adult and paediatric patients
- Manage workload and report on usage of resources
- Cooperate in the training of medical students and other staff
- Participate in the development and operation of hospital administrative, operational and planning systems
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Audiologist
Qualifications:
- Hold a two-year full-time M.Sc in Audiology or equivalent qualification in Audiology
- Hold a BSc (Hons) in Audiology awarded by Athlone Institute of Technology in 2016
- Hold a qualification equivalent to (A) or (B) above, and provide evidence of audiological competence and English language proficiency
Essential Requirements:
- Statutory registration and professional qualifications in Audiology
- Audiological competency, professional knowledge experience, and ability
Desirable:
- Interest or experience in Vestibular assessments
