This position offers opportunities for continuous learning, professional growth, and a welcoming work environment with structured clinical guidance.The RoleThe Basic Grade Clinical Psychologist will work with community, residential and day service staff teams to provide psychological assessments, interventions, and support to adults with intellectual disabilities. The role will involve delivering a range of services including cognitive assessments, behavioural interventions, and therapeutic supports that help individuals maximise their quality of life, independence, and participation in the community.Additionally, this role will involve conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions for individuals with intellectual, physical, and sensory disabilities. The post holder will provide therapeutic support, develop behaviour management plans, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to care.The successful candidate will have strong clinical and assessment skills, experience with therapeutic approaches (such as CBT and Positive Behaviour Support), and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
