Job Description

Basic Grade Occupational Therapist Full time, Permanent Contracts, 35 hours per week Based in CRC Childrens Disability Network Teams, Clondalkin The CRC Childrens Disability Network Teams (CDNT) will be providing intervention to children from the age of 0-18 years, presenting with complex developmental needs requiring inter-disciplinary intervention. Our services are based upon a Family Centered Practice Model in line with the Progressing Disability Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team in Clondalkin. The successful candidate will have the following essential requirements: Current CORU registration or applied for and be eligible for registration as an Occupational Therapist A recognised Occupational Therapist qualification At least 6 months post qualification clinical experience working with children with disabilities Excellent communication, initiative and time management skills Flexibility and teamwork skills are key to this role Experience working with children with complex disability as part of undergraduate training may be considered. Desirablerequirements: Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities Experience working with children with physical disabilities Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder Experience completing Assessment of Need Full drivers license and access to car It must be clearly demonstrated in your CV and supporting statement how you meet the required skills, competencies and knowledge for the post.
