Diagnostic Imaging Department at Bon Secours Hospital Cork seeks experienced Radiographers to join a dynamic team providing a wide range of imaging services.
Job Description:
The Diagnostic Imaging Department at Bon Secours Hospital Cork is equipped with advanced technologies, including digital x-ray and fluoroscopy equipment, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Bone Densitometry, Mammography with Tomosynthesis, Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Angiography.
The Radiology service partners with a busy Oncology unit, elective Orthopaedic and pain management services, while also supporting a Medical Assessment Unit. Both adult and paediatric imaging are provided across a wide range of specialities.
The successful applicants will need to be confident decision makers, committed team-oriented individuals and possess excellent communication and engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality imaging services to patients
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Develop and maintain strong communication skills
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) in Radiography or equivalent
- Registration in the relevant division of the Radiographers Register
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to train junior staff
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Eligibility to work in Ireland with full working rights
