We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Basic Grade Speech & Language Therapist to join our team in CHO6, Dublin South, currently based in Sandymount and Leopardstown. Contract Type: Permanent Posts. Contract Hours: Full and Part Time Posts. Salary Scale: €43,276 - €57,653 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments). Annual Leave Entitlement: 32 days per annum. Overview of the Post: The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy service including assessment, diagnostics and intervention as required to all children accessing the service, and will work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the designated area. The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech and Language Therapist by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU. AND Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. AND Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech and Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. Annual registration On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech and Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech and Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU. AND Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORU to Enable Ireland. Desirable Criteria: Post graduate work experience as a Speech & Language Therapist. Experience of interdisciplinary team working. Experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Any relevant post graduate training specific to child disability services. e.g. Hanen, Lamh, PECS, ADOS, AT training. Experience in working with Assistive Technology. Post graduate experience in Feeding, Eating, Drinking and Swallowing (FEDS). If you believe you would fit the role then please submit your application today.
