Job Summary:

Manage a team of Business Development Representatives to drive high performance and raise standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, develop and coach a team of Business Development Representatives to a world-class level.
  • Develop short and medium term goals for the BDR team to drive high performance and raise standards.
  • Ensure that sales qualified leads are converting to opportunities and supporting sales pipeline growth.
  • Continually focus on improving our sales processes, driving efficiency and output.
  • Hire, train and coach your team to become experts in articulating our value proposition.
  • Motivate and support your team to hit and over exceed their monthly targets.
  • Act as a liaison between the BDR and AE unit to drive alignment between both teams.
  • Work closely alongside Enablement to onboard new joiners successfully as well as deliver new training initiatives and/or new processes for the wider BDR unit.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement across sales operations and make recommendations to executive leadership for streamlining processes.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years experience managing outbound teams.
  • Consistent track record of exceeding targets as an individual contributor and in a management capacity.
  • Track record of developing and improving ramping sales reps.
  • Worked in a fast paced / start up / scale up environment.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to lead, motivate and retain staff.
  • Analytical mindset - a problem-solver able to use data to make autonomous decisions.
  • Experience of Solution Selling and/or MEDDICC methodologies (Desired).
