Manage a team of Business Development Representatives to drive high performance and raise standards.
- Develop short and medium-term goals for the BDR team to drive high performance and raise standards.
- Ensure sales qualified leads convert to opportunities and support sales pipeline growth.
- Improve sales processes, driving efficiency and output.
- Hire, train, and coach team members to become experts in articulating the value proposition.
- Motivate and support team members to hit and exceed monthly targets.
- Act as a liaison between the BDR and AE unit to drive alignment between both teams.
- Work closely with Enablement to onboard new joiners and deliver new training initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for improvement across sales operations and make recommendations to executive leadership.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience managing outbound teams.
- Consistent track record of exceeding targets as an individual contributor and in a management capacity.
- Track record of developing and improving ramping sales reps.
- Experience in a fast-paced, start-up, or scale-up environment.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and retain staff.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make autonomous decisions.
- Experience with Solution Selling and/or MEDDICC methodologies (desired).
