We are looking for a Behavioural Pharmacology Team Leader The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge projects on psychedelic research and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders.
Ulysses Neuroscience Limited is an Irish Private R&D Organization providing clinical and preclinical research services to pharmaceutical companies to accelerate their drug discovery programmes in neuropsychiatric, neurodegenerative and rare neurological disorders.
Our mission is to advance knowledge and treatment of brain disorders by using translational neuroscience to bridge preclinical and clinical research while keeping patients' involvement and interests at the forefront.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Preclinical Behavioural Pharmacology Team Leader.
The Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of the pharmacology team while also keeping lab-based duties.
The Team Leader will also ensure that projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, timeliness and financial efficiency.
Experience (3 -5 years) in rodent behavioural pharmacology and EEG is required to be considered for the position.
Behavioural Pharmacology Team Leader Dublin, Ireland Requirements: Ph D in Neuroscience or a related field Minimum of 3 years' experience in behavioural pharmacology and EEG research.
Experience in surgical implantation of electrophysiological electrodes in rodents is mandatory.
Strong proficiency in signal processing and analysis, data management, and statistical analysis.
The ability to independently design, execute, and critically interpret behavioural and EEG experiments is essential.
Proven record in managing preclinical studies, technical teams and CROs (Contract Research Organisations) is preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present scientific data internally and externally in a clear and concise manner.
