Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Bid Manager to lead our proposal development process from opportunity identification to submission. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with practice area and sector teams to develop client proposals and pitches that support business development goals.
- Identifying new business opportunities through public and private sector tender portals.
- Partnering with lawyers, marketing teams, and other firm-wide personnel to manage the bid process and prepare compelling statements of qualifications and responses to RFPs.
- Acquiring, developing, and drafting original content while consolidating input from various stakeholders to create clear, accurate, and effective responses.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, refining bid processes, tools, templates, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supporting the completion of other written materials such as client presentations, legal directory submissions, and vendor questionnaires.
About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of the bid lifecycle, proposal writing, and development. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience as a Bid Manager, Proposal Manager, or in a similar role.
- Strong business acumen and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
