Job Description

A leading Industrial cleaning and Facilities Management company require a Bid Manager to join their business development team due to the continuation and addition of a number of key contracts. Based in Co Meath you will report to a the Commercial Manager and play a key role in the overall performance of the company. MAIN DUTIES Review and develop robust tender processes and innovative content to ensure best-in-class submissions. Coordinating tender submissions and engaging with team members, highlighting special requirements, deadlines, site visits, etc. Responsible for creating strong written proposals, reviewing, and editing content as well as presenting completed tenders ensuring all instructions and deadlines are met. Responsible for the formulation of the unique bid pricing strategy, working closely with senior stakeholders in the business Provide guidance on resourcing and pricing mechanisms and rates for each bid/pitch/tender opportunity Reviewing bid content and providing a pre-submission control point to ensure submission conformity. Maintaining bid library and ensuring is it regularly updated, and content is available for use. Identifying and re-working existing pre-written content where relevant. Ensuring timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines. Coordinating and planning all client presentations required as part of the bid submission. Driving continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews. Conducting detailed handover of finalised bid & presentation to the team who will deliver the presentation. Report to the leadership team on business development activity, with a particular focus on bids. Play an active role in Sales and Networking activities as part of the Business Development Team, attending client meetings, networking events etc Assist the Business Development team with sales and commercial related activities; Re-tenders, pricing, etc as and when required. About you; 2 Years experience in same or similar role/industry A proven track record of success in a similar role/industry is essential Excellent knowledge of the Commercial Cleaning Industry A high level of computer skills including up to date and accurate data entry with proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft office Ability to work independently and use own initiative Positive attitude to work and excellent team player Strong relationship building skills Highly developed listening skills with the ability to clearly understand client needs and develop credible value propositions Skills: bid writing bid management tender writing tender preparation industrial cleaning commercial cleaning facilities management Benefits: Work From Home
