**Cloud Support Engineer** Summary: Provide expert technical support to customers using Amazon Web Services, troubleshooting complex issues and collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer problems. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of this transformational technology, assisting a global list of companies and developers that are taking advantage of a growing set of services and features to run their mission-critical applications. **Key Responsibilities:** • Learn and use groundbreaking technologies to provide expert technical support to customers • Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide unique solutions to customer's individual needs • Interact with leading engineers around the world to resolve complex customer issues • Partner with Amazon Web Services teams to help reproduce and resolve customer issues • Drive customer communication during critical events • Drive projects that improve support-related processes and our customers' technical support experience • Write tutorials, how-to videos, and other technical articles for the developer community **Requirements:** • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Portuguese (written and spoken) • Experience with Hadoop ecosystems, support and troubleshooting, and a good depth of understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) • Good understanding of System Administration and troubleshooting with Linux and/or Microsoft Windows Server and associated technologies • Good understanding of Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, OSI model, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, c URL or related) • Understanding of cloud computing concepts and/or experience with any cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) • Experience scripting or developing in one or more of the following languages: UNIX Shell, Python, R, Ruby, GO, Java,.NET (C#), Java Script • Bachelor's degree in Information Science / Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field OR equivalent experience in a technical position **About Amazon:** Amazon is an equal opportunities employer and values diversity in the workplace.
