BIM Engineer in Dublin for top M&E contractor: assist BIM manager on mechanical and electrical projects, detail 3D co-ordination models, produce 2D fabrication drawings, and manage files on controlled server.

BIM Engineer duties:
Manage files on controlled server
Work with site crews on co-ordination issues
Provide design and draughting support with 3D CAD models, including design codes and practices
Produce 2D general arrangement drawings from 3D model
Assist in production of accurate drawings/models from engineers/designers calculations
Co-ordinate 3D multi-discipline engineering model, including clash detection and version control
Use Autodesk Navisworks for clashing of 3D models
Produce drawings for above and below ground drainage
Necessary requirements:
2-3 years' experience in similar role
Level 1 certificate in BIM
Proficient in BIM modelling packages, including Revit, AutoPlant, AutoCAD 3D
Degree in Engineering (or similar)
Analytical and conscientious thinker
Excellent communication skills
Attentive to detail and record keeper
