Sandyford Meats is a well proven, long standing and highly regarded Beef Processor and is recruiting to fill the position of Boning Hall Manager. The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director and General Manager to drive the business forward and expand its already established position as a supplier of very high quality beef, to high end retail and food service customers across Ireland, UK and Europe.
The successful applicant will be responsible for up to 10 production staff and the planning and running of Boning Hall production, which operates a single shift over 5 days. The candidate must possess a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness and ability to take ownership of matters, always with an eye on the big picture and the overall welfare of the business.
They should be a fully skilled Beef Boner and Trimmer who is fully versed in beef butchery and the many possible variations of specification that may be required. They should be able to lead by example, in what is a fully hands on role. They should bring enthusiasm, a positive can-do attitude, good organisational skills, a keen eye for continuous improvement, driven by strong attention to detail, with the long term strategy/welfare of the business being forefront at all times.
