Job Description

Responsibilities: Accurately record and maintain daily financial transactions Process Accounts Payable invoices, reconcile creditor balances with supplier statements. Verify accuracy of invoices, goods received and follow up on credit notes. Handle payments and returns for RCT, VAT, and PAYE, ensuring timely compliance with revenue requirements and deadlines. Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper allocation of transactions. Process payroll efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments. Maintain detailed records of financial transactions, ensuring accurate bookkeeping. Prepare and maintain accounts up to the trial balance stage. Requirements: Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, including accounts payable and receivable. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping role in a busy environment. Proficiency with accounting software systems Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Familiarity with revenue-related filings such as RCT, VAT, and PAYE.
