Job Description
Seeking experienced Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales growth, and lead a team in a fast-paced building products environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Regional Manager and Sales Representatives to achieve monthly turnover targets
- Managing all key Branch functions, including Trade, Retail, DIY, Showroom, Internal and External Sales
- Maintaining a clean, well-organised and properly merchandised Store at all times
- Providing direction and support to staff in delivering exceptional customer service
- Managing stock and purchasing, including inventory levels and cost inputs
- Overseeing yard and transport functions
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Company Policy
- Managing staff, including attendance, time keeping and disciplinary procedures
Requirements:
- Previous management experience in a busy Builder Providers or similar business
- Strong understanding of the construction industry
- Competence with standard software packages, including MS Word, Excel and basic accounting
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong commercial acumen
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve Branch targets and objectives
