Job Description


Seeking experienced Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, drive sales growth, and lead a team in a fast-paced building products environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the construction industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Regional Manager and Sales Representatives to achieve monthly turnover targets
  • Managing all key Branch functions, including Trade, Retail, DIY, Showroom, Internal and External Sales
  • Maintaining a clean, well-organised and properly merchandised Store at all times
  • Providing direction and support to staff in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Managing stock and purchasing, including inventory levels and cost inputs
  • Overseeing yard and transport functions
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Company Policy
  • Managing staff, including attendance, time keeping and disciplinary procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience in a busy Builder Providers or similar business
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry
  • Competence with standard software packages, including MS Word, Excel and basic accounting
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve Branch targets and objectives
