Broadcast Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced broadcast engineer. This role involves managing and delivering high-quality live streams of company events, ensuring a smooth and professional broadcast experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting skills, along with a solid understanding of AV technologies and broadcast standards. Essential Skills Extensive knowledge of Broadcast Standards and formats Proficiency in streaming protocols, encoding, and transcoding Expertise in signal flow, processing, and AV network infrastructure In-depth knowledge of Blackmagic and AJA technologies Experience with video conferencing (VC) technologies Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Personal Attributes Excellent project management skills, including multitasking, attention to detail, and time management Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders Customer-focused approach, with the ability to understand client needs and ensure they are reflected in technical requirements Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Dublin, Ireland.
