Our client, a leading company in the construction and engineering sector, is seeking a talented Building Services Engineer to join their team in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement mechanical and electrical building services systems, including HVAC, lighting, water, and fire protection systems.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate building services into construction projects.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure systems are installed and operating according to design specifications and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, drawings, and reports for building services designs and installations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations, and environmental sustainability requirements.
- Participate in project planning and budgeting to deliver building services on time and within cost estimates.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to manage the procurement and installation of building services equipment and materials.
- Monitor and maintain building service systems to ensure ongoing reliability and energy efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit) and other engineering tools.
