Position: Building Services Engineer Location: Dublin Salary: €35,000 - €45,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity: Building Services Engineer in Dublin! About the Role: Our client, a leading company in the construction and engineering sector, is seeking a talented Building Services Engineer to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of building service systems, ensuring projects meet regulatory standards and performance requirements. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement mechanical and electrical building services systems, including HVAC, lighting, water, and fire protection systems. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate building services into construction projects. Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure systems are installed and operating according to design specifications and safety regulations. Prepare detailed technical documentation, drawings, and reports for building services designs and installations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance. Ensure compliance with industry standards, building regulations, and environmental sustainability requirements. Participate in project planning and budgeting to deliver building services on time and within cost estimates. Liaise with contractors and suppliers to manage the procurement and installation of building services equipment and materials. Monitor and maintain building service systems to ensure ongoing reliability and energy efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems. Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and other engineering tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
