Job Description
Role and Responsibilities * Safely operate a bus on scheduled routes, special excursions, or chartered trips. * Follow designated routes and schedules as per the company's timetable. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition. * Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus, particularly the elderly and those with disabilities. * Provide information to passengers regarding routes, schedules, and fares. * Maintain a high level of customer service and address passenger inquiries or concerns professionally. * Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies. * Ensure the safety and security of passengers at all times. * Monitor and report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly to the appropriate personnel. * Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, route mileage, fuel consumption, and any other required documentation. * Complete daily logs and reports as required by the company. * Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of the bus to ensure a clean and pleasant environment for passengers. * Report any maintenance or repair needs to the transport manager or maintenance team. Ideal Candidate * Valid D license required. * Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
