About our employer: A well-established Irish transport sector company committed to reducing transport emissions through environmentally conscious practices.
Our fleet consists of a variety of vehicles, including hybrid, electric, Zero Emission, and FCEV models. As a Bus Mechanic, you will be responsible for conducting reactive and planned maintenance on these vehicles.
- Inspecting vehicles to identify any faults, electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic
- Using diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot vehicle faults
- Meeting maintenance plans to ensure longevity and functionality of the company vehicle fleet
- Replacing or repairing damaged/malfunctioning components and parts
- Conducting work in line with safety standards and specifications
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience as a Bus Mechanic and a recognised QQI Level 6 motor mechanic qualification. Experience working on buses, HGVs, or similar is also desirable.
