An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and skilled Business Affairs Executive to join a dynamic team within a leading company in the TV Media industry. Key Responsibilities Corporate compliance in collaboration with external Tax Advisers and Auditors. Negotiating and closing development contracts such as shopping agreements, options, and writers agreements. Handling production funding contracts and negotiation of recoupment positions. Supporting Producers and Head of Content for legal requirements related to funding and co-productions. Negotiating and closing banking and cash flow loans, company charges, etc. Liaising with external Legal Advice across various departments. Maintaining commercial relationships with industry stakeholders and attending industry events. Key Skills and Requirements: Demonstrable Experience Drafting and negotiating rights agreements within the television/media industry. Managing third-party relationships and understanding of a range of rights in programme deals. Qualifications A basic qualification in Accountancy or financial training is essential. Skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to deadlines. Strong communication skills, both orally and written. Ability to work collaboratively and manage a high volume of workload efficiently. Confidence in providing commercial and legal advice.
