Business Analyst - €500 - 540 Per Day A large Irish Semi-State company headquartered in Dublin City Centre is looking for a Business Analyst with specific experience in Agile Project Development to join their IT Operations team for a project starting in September. This role will be initially offered on a 12-month contract basis but with a strong probability of extension beyond this timeframe. The Business Analyst to undertake the role of a Product Manager within a Supervisory Workbench team. In doing so, they will work closely with the business managers and subject matter experts in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements. With a dynamic working environment, generous renumeration rates and an easily accessible location in Dublin City Centre, this role is a great Opportunity for ambitious Business Analysts looking to gain further experience delivering high level projects into Government organisations. Attendance requirements for this role are Hybrid, with the succesful candidate required onsite in our easily accessible city centre location 2 days per week. Responsibilities of Role Run user workshops to uncover real user needs in the domain that the product team is focused on Create user personas and user journeys to document the user needs Translate the unmet needs that have been identified into product backlog items Liaise with business and IT stakeholders to build a product vision and product roadmap Take on product management or product owner responsibilities as required Define a prioritisation framework to allow the most valuable work to be identified for the team Create a framework of regular meetings, templates and other activities that define the role of product manager and can be handed over to a designated Bank staff member when the term of engagement has completed Coach and mentor the designated staff member over the course of the contract so that they are able to take over the work seamlessly at the end of the contract Essential Candidate Requirements Degree in Business or IT related discipline or equivalent. 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst, a significant portion of which should have been spent working with an agile project team (Ideally will have spent time working as a product manager or product owner) Strong, demonstratable Knowledge of best practices throughout BA process (from business requirements elicitation to UAT) Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across different levels within the organisation. Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders Good documentation skills & experience Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process. Experience in Project risk management, identifying risks and proactively escalating them to delivery manager. Assisting in issue resolution and risk mitigation.
