An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join a progressive IT team as a Business Analyst. The role will be part of a small project team who liaise between IT, the business, and our external suppliers/vendors. Your primary focus will be communicating with colleagues to understand the requirements of the organisation and its individual departments. This is a fixed term contract for 6 months.Job responsibilities:Analysing business processes and systems to define solution requirements.Translate business requirements into system requirements, design specifications, and document new and/or existing application requirements by use of written documentation and data modeling and present it to stakeholders when asked.Ensure that new or existing systems meet business requirements and practices and that all application interface issues/concerns are understood, documented, and addressed satisfactorily.Delivering change by managing required changes to existing configuration and integrations and creating new ones based upon business needs while providing a consistent experience for project participants and business owners.Drive adoption, optimization, and transformation – ensure we are fully leveraging business and talent needs and pursue continuous improvement in business processes, integration, automation, and user experience.Coordinate with internal and external partners – work with 3rd party software and internal teams, audit and security teams to ensure configuration and integrations are efficient, compliant, and accurate.We are looking for someone who has:A relevant third level qualification in IT or Business.Good idea of software development and project management methodologies; desire to master and continuously improve processes.A minimum of 1 year as a BA in a role of consequence.Personal Skills Requirements:Determined to drive for results; takes ownership and responsibility for tasks and overcomes obstacles.Supportive, listening for good ideas and getting ideas moving when they are worth evaluating.Strong communication and facilitation skills.Great problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively is key.Ability to set priorities for teams, negotiate to establish feasible schedules and work to deadlines.Attention to detail and ability to produce clear and concise reporting.You value teamwork.Pay & Benefits:The salary for this role is DOE.
