Business Analyst role for a 6-month contract with minimal onsite requirements in Cork, assisting the business with project scope documents and requirements gathering.
Morgan McKinley are recruiting for a Business Analyst on behalf of one of our key clients.
This is a 6 month daily rate contract, with minimal onsite requirements in Cork.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the business with project scope documents through reviewing and analysing.
- Plan, organise and manage the requirements gathering process.
- Elicit requirements through workshops, process analysis and observation.
- Document agreed requirements on-time, in line with scope and goals of a project.
- Prioritise requirements based on feasibility and business need.
- Build user stories.
- Document and analyse change requests as required by a project.
- Support development, system testing and user acceptance testing during a project.
- Effectively track and record time spent on projects.
The successful candidate will have:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a business analyst.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Business or Information Technology.
- Background in JIRA and Confluence.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise tasks.
- Ability to work proactively and independently to deliver high quality and on time.
