Job Description
Business Analyst Sanderson have teamed up with an insurance company to recruit three Business Analysts on 12-month contracts. Responsibilities: Ensure business outcomes align with plans, defining and articulating change requirements. Analyze business and industry data, including KPIs and financial reports. Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams. Assess and model process improvements. Support viability assessments and analyze process issues. Assist with estimation and sizing activities. Document and analyze the current 'As Is' landscape. Negotiate efficient paths to desired outcomes. Connect requirements to technical design with the solution architect. Convert roadmap features into user stories. Create reports and visualizations to explain business performance. Perform data discovery and modeling. Participate in business/scrum/project meetings. Prioritize customer needs and challenge decisions not in their best interests. Assist with project management as needed. Develop leadership skills and train team members. Perform other related duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Required: Experienced Business Analyst with a focus on gathering business requirements. Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques. Experience in the Life Insurance industry and medium to large-scale projects. Knowledge of IT/Digital development, Customer Operations, and regulatory change. Familiarity with industry technology systems. Experience in testing and mapping business processes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Leadership, negotiation, and influencing skills. PMP, PRINCE II, or Agile certification is a plus.
