Location: Hybrid - Remote & Central Park, Dublin 18, This role is being offered on a permanent full-time basis. About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Change Manager to join our newly established AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) at AIB. The AI CoE will be responsible for driving and supporting the development and implementation of AI solutions across the business and ensuring alignment with our AI framework and data ethics principles. As a Business Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will work closely with data scientists and engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure AI initiatives are aligned with the bank's strategic objectives and deliver positive customer outcomes, and measurable business value. We are seeking a business change manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about collaboration and excited by the prospect of shaping the future of AIB through AI. The successful candidate will need to be a strategic thinker who can navigate complex projects and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Key Accountabilities Include: Works with the Head of AI to support the development and improvement of the AI framework and establish AI CoE processes, standards, and best practices. Leads, inspires and motivates a high performing team to deliver innovative AI solutions that will positively impact AIB and our customers. Leads the work with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for AI projects, ensuring a clear understanding of the business goals, business and COE priorities and objectives Assesses business requirements to understand the impact, feasibility and risk associated with implementation of AI solutions. Analyses existing business processes to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements and efficiencies. Create process models and workflows that incorporate AI solutions. Translates business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clarity, completeness, and consistency. Collaborates with the AI data scientists and engineers to ensure that the technical design and implementation of AI solutions meet the business requirements and expectations. Leads the planning, execution, and tracking of AI projects. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Support the testing, deployment, alignment and evaluation of AI solutions, and assist with the resolution of any problems. Supports the implementation of AI solutions by leading and facilitating change management processes. Develop training materials and communication plans to ensure smooth adoption of AI tools across the organisation promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration. Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for AI initiatives. Monitor and measure the benefits and outcomes of AI solutions, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, and report on the progress and performance of AI projects to the Head of AI and the business stakeholders. Works with the Head of AI and wider CoE to continuously assess and evolve the AI strategy for the Group. Monitor changes in the external environment and stay abreast of AI related developments in the market. Minimum Criteria: Bachelor's degree or higher in business, computer science or a related field. Qualification in statistics, data science, artificial intelligence or equivalent qualification an advantage. Strong leadership and organisation skills with 4+ years of experience leading a team and motivating and inspiring individuals to deliver strong results, ideally in a financial services setting. Strong knowledge and understanding of AI concepts, tools, and applications, and familiarity with the AI landscape and trends. Team player, with the ability to collaborate and build rapport within the team and develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex and technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong customer and business acumen and a proven ability to deliver against targets. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and evaluate business needs, opportunities, and risks. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
