The focus of this team's work is delivering client engagements that enable their clients to maximise business value through the optimisation of the Demand / Supply relationship in order that it delivers the most cost & cash effective supply chain with best on class customer service performance. In addition to delivery on client engagements, as a senior consultant you will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.You will support complex programmes and develop expertise in the area of Planning Transformation. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping our clients to solve their toughest Supply Chain & Operations problems.As a Senior Consultant in Supply Chain & Operations, you will:Have a track record of supporting supply chain work in the marketplace, underpinned with a strong, trusted networkHave experience in working as part of a team of cross-functional experts of different levelsDemonstrate strong technical capabilities and professional knowledge in your functional area of Supply ChainDemonstrate ability to quickly learn new processes and uncover new offerings that may assist current customer baseTactical and process oriented problem-solvingExcellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teamsAbility to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutionsSuperior verbal and written communication skillsBuild relationships with client personnel and deliver quality client servicesExperience in using digital technology to enhance end-to-end supply chain performanceMaintain a learning & development program to continually develop personal skillsAct as a role model for EY values, integrity and professional ethicsSuccess and attributes for successHold a third level qualification, preferably in supply chain, engineering or business or equivalentHave at least 3 years of experience in a supply chain environment, with special emphasis on supply chain planning, Inventory planning and/or Supply Chain transformation projectsHave deep knowledge in one, or more, of the specific areas of expertise: supply chain planning, Supply Chain operating model design, process optimization and process improvement and end-to-end supply chain managementBe exceptionally motivated to bring your expertise, focusing on Supply Chain Planning to help our clients fundamentally improve their operationsBe a forward thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledgeExhibit strong stakeholder management and communication experienceHaving prior consulting experience would be of benefitWhat we look forAn individual with drive and focus who enjoys delivering a high-quality service for our clients.
