Business Continuity Planning Manager Sanderson has partnered with a non-profit organization to recruit a Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Manager. In this crucial role, you will ensure that their processes and systems are resilient and prepared for any serious incidents or adverse events. You will work closely with the Executive Management Team and the Corporate Risk Manager. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development & Analysis Develop and implement a comprehensive business continuity strategy. Conduct Business Impact Analysis to evaluate key processes, systems, and subject matter expertise. Review and analyze ICT disaster recovery capabilities to ensure effective support for business continuity. Assessment & Planning Work with the Corporate Risk Manager to identify threats and vulnerabilities across the organization. Develop detailed business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Create and manage incident response and escalation protocols. Reporting & Maintenance Conduct regular drills and training to ensure the preparedness of staff. Maintain thorough documentation of plans, procedures, and strategies. Ensure compliance with governance requirements and relevant standards, such as ISO. Risk Management Support the risk management function by providing guidance and expertise to ensure the effective functioning of the unit. Qualifications & Experience: A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a large organization. Proven experience in Business Continuity Planning and/or risk management within a complex business environment. Strong understanding of corporate governance processes, assurance frameworks, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads and develop BCP strategies. Proficient in risk management processes with the ability to identify single points of failure and advise on mitigation plans. Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
