Business Continuity Specialist | Permanent |Dublin | Hybrid Our Client is a global leader in the online entertainment and technology sector, a company that has trebled its revenue in three years and has exciting strategic ambitions ahead. This role resides within the Group Risk team. As a Business Continuity Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in designing, building, and transforming the resilience programme of a dynamic organisation. This is a great opportunity for someone with a proactive, innovative mindset looking to develop and enhance resilience strategies while working on a diverse portfolio of projects. Key Responsibilities: Support the management and maintenance of the Group resilience framework, guiding resilience programmes across the organisation. Partner with business functions to ensure critical scoping, clear understanding of business impacts, and appropriate definition of business continuity plans. Help build the resilience community by driving best practices in business continuity, crisis management, and related workstreams. Support the development and maintenance of relevant policies and procedures within the Group toolkit. Oversee and support BCP testing, planning, and coordination across various group functions. Contribute to the design and operation of emergency communications tools, partnering with stakeholders and external vendors to meet ongoing requirements. Coordinate and review test strategies, providing recommendations for improvements and tracking action plan progress. Support key projects, such as enhanced incident management, to meet the evolving needs of the organisation. REQUIREMENTS Experience: 3-7 years in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced, high-performing commercial environment. Relevant qualifications in Business Continuity Management, Risk, or related disciplines are advantageous but not essential. Technical Expertise: Proficient understanding of business continuity and crisis management. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to translate data into clear, tailored reports for various audiences using tools such as Microsoft Office or PowerBI. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate complex matters simply. Team Player: Enjoys being part of a dynamic team, strong at building relationships, and comfortable handling difficult conversations when necessary. Resilient: Adaptable, determined, and able to navigate crises with a proactive approach. Innovator: Open-minded and ready to challenge the status quo to solve problems and improve processes.
