Business Development Associate Director
Drive growth by identifying synergies and opportunities within the Life Sciences Sector in Ireland and mainland Europe. Foster relationships with clients and prospects to achieve mutually beneficial goals.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new business prospects and identify market opportunities for growth.
- Build long-term relationships with potential clients and prospects through effective communication and negotiation.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends and competition.
- Maintain construction proposal templates and methodologies to support the company's offering.
- Support the Engineering Team in developing concept designs and value engineering options.
- Liaise with clients and design teams during the pre-contract stage and arrange site visits as required.
- Support the Estimating Team in developing budgets and tender submissions.
- Participate in tender adjudication process and engage in post-tender negotiations with clients.
- Provide handover to the Operations Team on transition to post-contract activities.
- Build long-term relationships with the supply chain to support product development and innovation.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering.
- A construction management or surveying third-level qualification.
- A high level of ability and advanced knowledge of construction contracts, procurement strategies, construction methods and technology, architectural design, mechanical and electrical design, local subcontract market, pricing levels, negotiation skills, and analytical skills.
