Job Description Act as first point of contact for designated clients, visit new and existing clients to demonstrate products in order to win new business. Be responsible for developing and managing new client relationships assigned by the Chief Commercial Officer or Sales Director. Account manage designated customers. Drive new business growth from existing and new clients, manage your new business pipeline and execute client strategy plans. Manage and follow relevant administrative systems and sales processes such as account plans, sales force, sales plans and internal processes. Ensure customer satisfaction by collaborating across internal business teams and coordinating customer strategy with other business units. Negotiate contract terms and pricing of license agreements with new and current business partners, coordinating with the Legal Department and the Chief Commercial Officer and/or Sales Director to review contracts and licensing issues. Establish a need for new products and capture client requirements, ensuring a feedback process for these requirements and challenges into product development and innovation teams. Provide input into forecast and revenue tracking systems, including risk assessment of client and business partner revenue numbers for annual forecasts and budgets. Monitor licensees/contracts to ensure compliance with license (e.g. tracking and verifying receipt of appropriate fees and ensuring renewals). Complete all responsibilities as outlined in the annual Performance/Objectives plan. Complete all special projects including engagement with key stakeholders and other duties as assigned. Promote the Verisk brand within the insurance market and present a positive, professional image of the company at all times. Work with the Operations Director to plan and arrange customer services reviews, ensuring all documentation is up to date and metrics are prepared in a timely manner by service team. Qualifications Ideally a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 5 years plus of experience working in a client facing role, ideally within the data or insurance sector. Proven customer service, sales and marketing, and negotiation experience are required. Experience in preparing and executing sales contracts. Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills are required. Must have demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, including handling difficult and complex customer issues and related projects. Experience in developing business opportunities, growing revenue and developing and managing a sales pipeline. An ability to actively contribute to product development by feeding back client requirements and needs, and supporting Verisk Product innovation.
