Business Development & Relationships Professional

Seeking a well-connected individual in the North Cork Area to join an ambitious business, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. Responsible for maximising revenues, growing the business, and expanding to new areas via network and digital channels.

Responsibilities

* Work with Management and the team to understand and ensure the success of the business Strategic Plan.
* Increase customers and lending opportunities within branches and achieve branch lending targets.
* Develop online and phone presence, including the targeted development of the online offering.
* Engage with customers, potential businesses, and community leaders with regard to strategic lending opportunities.
* Develop and maintain a database for each target market and utilise data analytical tools.
* Achieve targets for business development in the common bond area.
* Develop customer solution strategies combining the best available products and services.
* Work with relevant teams to ensure efficient launch of new products and evaluate offerings.
* Evaluate the competitive landscape to ensure products and services are competitive and offer value.
* Maximise sponsorships and community funding through business presence at events.
* Contribute to the creation of a cohesive marketing and customer engagement plan.
* Identify product training needs and deliver relevant business development training.
* Offer innovative solutions for customers and develop relationships with third-party providers.
* Manage marketing campaigns and social media presence.
* Pro-actively generate new prospects, leads, and lead follow-up.
* Work with the lending team to ensure targets are achieved.

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a results-driven business development role in financial services or similar environment.
* Self-starter with creative ideas and enthusiasm.
* Results focused, proactive, and adaptable.
* Business development and proven sales experience in financial services.
* Knowledge of financial services products and services, especially in personal banking and mortgages.
* Ability to assess market developments, devise customer surveys, and develop informed product solutions.
* Customer-centric focus with excellent report writing and presentation skills.
* IT skills, including database analysis and Microsoft Office capabilities.
* Excellent administrative, organisational, and business support skills.
* Ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure.
* Experience in dealing with external providers and representative bodies.
* Ability to work co-operatively with other businesses and ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
