Business Development & Relationships Professional

Seeking a well-connected individual in the North Cork area to drive strategic growth and revenue maximisation for an ambitious business.

Key responsibilities include:

Collaborating with management and staff to develop and execute the business strategic plan.

Increasing customer and lending opportunities within branches and achieving lending targets.

Developing online and phone presence and targeted online offerings.

Engaging with customers, potential businesses, and community leaders to explore lending opportunities.

Utilising data analytical tools to leverage opportunities provided by data.

Achieving targets for business development within the common bond area.

Developing customer solution strategies that combine the best available products and services.

Working with relevant teams to ensure efficient launch of new or evolving products.

Evaluating the competitive landscape to ensure products and services are competitive, reasonably priced, and offer value.

Maximising sponsorships and community funding through business presence at events and information evenings.

Contributing to the creation of a cohesive, targeted annual marketing and customer engagement plan and budget.

Identifying product training needs and delivering relevant business development training.

Managing all marketing campaigns and social media presence.

Developing relationships with third-party providers and groups to offer quality and valued services.

Pro-actively generating new prospects, leads, and lead follow-up.

Working closely with the lending team to ensure targets are achieved.

Developing customer engagement opportunities to ensure the business remains connected to its customers.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' experience in a results-driven business development role, preferably within financial services.

Self-starter with creative ideas and enthusiasm.

Results-focused, proactive, and adaptable.

Business development and proven sales experience, preferably in a financial services environment.

Knowledge of financial services products and services, especially in personal banking and mortgages.

Ability to assess financial services market developments and devise informed product solutions.

Customer-centric focus with a first-class service delivery.

Excellent report writing and presentation skills.

IT skills, with strong database analysis and Microsoft Office capabilities.

Excellent administrative, organisational, and business support skills.

Ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure.

Experience in dealing with external providers and representative bodies.

Ability to work co-operatively with other businesses to share experiences and drive common goals.

Ensure compliance with all legislation, regulations, and guidance, including Data Protection and employment law.
