Our client, a leading energy contractor with a global presence, is seeking a dynamic Commercial Lead to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects in substation, power generation, and grid connection.Responsibilities:Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion in alignment with company objectives.Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, alliances, and acquisitions.Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and presentation of compelling proposals, bids, and presentations to win new projects and contracts.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility and foster strategic partnerships.Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate business development activities, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to senior management.Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in all business development activities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.Proven track record of success in business development within the Substation, Grid Connection, or Power Construction industry.Strong understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and customer requirements.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets and deadlines.Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.Ability to travel as needed.Competitive benefits package and salary.
