Business Development Manager (National) Construction We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a strong background in the construction or engineering industry, familiar with the MMC/Offsite sector, and will have a proven track record in business development and sales. Business Development Manager Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on both MMC and traditional construction methods - Nationally Identify potential clients and projects, build and maintain relationships and secure new business -Nationally Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in collaboration with the technical team Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows t Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, project management, and marketing, to ensure alignment and support the successful delivery of services to clients. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Construction Economics (Estimating), Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction or engineering industry. Experience with MMC is highly desirable. Good general understanding of structural engineering, building performance, sustainability, and construction product development. Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
