Seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong background in construction or engineering to develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Identify potential clients and projects, build and maintain relationships, and secure new business nationally.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in collaboration with the technical team.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment and support the successful delivery of services to clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Economics (Estimating), Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction or engineering industry.
- Experience with MMC is highly desirable.
- Good general understanding of structural engineering, building performance, sustainability, and construction product development.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.
