As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence in the Northern/Western region.


With a focus on identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and ensuring sales growth and profitability, this is your chance to make your mark in a vibrant and forward-thinking organisation.

What You'll

Be Doing Manage Time Efficiently:

Achieve personal objectives by building and maintaining a pipeline to deliver against budget, ensuring SLAs and stock agreements are adhered to for mutual benefit.


Stay Updated:
Enhance your job knowledge through educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks.

Maintain Sales Pipeline:

Accurately maintain the sales pipeline to fit regional needs, as documented in 1-2-1 meetings with the Regional Sales Manager.


Strategic Sales Planning:
Develop and communicate a clear sales strategy for your geographical area with the Regional Sales Manager.

Customer Relationship Management:

Ensure customer contracts and agreements are meticulously filed and maintained, and that Paper Price Index reviews are carried out in accordance with customer SLAs.


Collaborate with Operations:
Build a strong relationship with Operations to understand and meet the needs of our factories.

Prepare Sales Reports:
Timely preparation and submission of sales reports.

Client Communication:
Engage with current and new customers to determine their needs.

Face-to-Face Engagement: Meet potential clients in person to convert, close, and secure new business.

Problem-Solving:

Work with design and technical teams to find innovative solutions to customer problems, turning challenges into value for VPK.


What You Bring Sales Experience:
Previous sales experience in corrugated, packaging, co-packing, despatch is essential.

Strategic Thinking:
Strong strategic thinker with exceptional relationship-building and key account management skills.

Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Negotiation Skills:
Excellent negotiation skills to navigate complex business scenarios.
