Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join an expanding team in Galway City. Your responsibilities will include targeting prospects, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining excellent business relations with client companies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Targeting prospects and developing new business opportunities/projects for client companies
- Visiting customers within the territory once a quarter - Ireland, UK and Europe
- Facilitating conference calls between client company and customers
- Representing the client company at tradeshows and other networking events
- FOLLOWING UP ON NEW OPPORTUNITIES AS WELL AS QUOTATIONS SUBMITTED TO CUSTOMERS
- Maintaining a high level of communication and collaboration with client companies in the interest of managing expectations and excellent business relations for all
- Sales Reports by customer and revenue KPI reports analysis and interpretation of data strategic recommendations in relation to driving new sales
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Medical Device, Life Science industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Job benefits include: Salary: €55,000 to €60,000 (Negotiable - Depending on Experience), Commission Hybrid, 4 days in office, Friday WFH, Pension, Mileage
