Job Opportunity - Business Development Representative:

SEPAM is in a period of growth and we are building out our Sales function to reflect the opportunities that are present in our industry.

Business Development Representatives are responsible for managing everything from Sales enquiries to closing new deals and everything in between. This role will manage sales activities across Ireland and will work with the wider Sales & Management team on EU & Global customer opportunities.

This role involves:

  • Managing the sales of our EPC services to existing and new customers in the Oil & Gas, Pharma, Data Centre & Advanced Manufacturing fields.
  • Responding to Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotations (RFQs) & Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tracking their progress, relevant dates and requirements in our systems.
  • Meeting with customers to understand their projects, requirements and to accurately build a solution that represents their specific needs.
  • Working with Technical Engineering, Pre-sales, Finance and Management to properly quote and present our solution and services.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process and relationship so that we can grow our new and installed base effectively through upselling & cross-selling appropriately.
  • Delivering incremental revenue and identifying potential sales opportunities across our business.

Knowledge & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess

  • University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance &/or Marketing.
  • Proven track record of achievement in closing deals in the Engineering, Oil&Gas, Pharma, Data Centre &/or Advanced Manufacturing markets.
  • Experience bidding on multi-million Euro deals, RFI, RFP, RFQ and presenting solutions and business cases.
  • Established relationships and network in the industry with a solid reputation of delivering for customers.
  • Interest in working in a commercial role that offers uncapped earnings for high performers.

This position can be based anywhere in Ireland, although our Head Office is in Clonmel. During probation the role will require considerable work at Head Office moving to a hybrid/remote role as the work progresses and you understand the business.

Due to the nature of this role it is anticipated that much of the work will be centred in our Head Office in Clonmel with some UK, EU and possibly Middle East travel depending on customer demand.
